Director, Strategic Partnerships
Drew joined the Bonham Wills team in November 2023 after spending 13+ years selling partnerships on a local, regional, and national scale. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management and Sports Science with a focus in Business Administration from Erskine College. In addition to earning a degree, Drew was recruited and awarded a scholarship to play goalkeeper on the Varsity Men’s Soccer team. During the summers, he worked for one of the country’s winningest and most well-respected soccer coaches, Ralph Lundy, at his soccer camps in NC, SC, and GA. It was here that Drew learned the importance of a strong work ethic and how to lead by example.
Upon playing one season of soccer in USL 1, he decided to hang up his gloves and boots, and accepted an internship to work for the Wake Forest Sports Network. There, he discovered his passion for the business side of sports. Drew exceeded his new business goals and was elevated to an Account executive at the Marshall property. While at Marshall, he helped the property achieve its revenue goal shortly after the football season kicked off by outdoing multiple sales goals. After 13-months in Huntington, West Virginia, Drew was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director, Revenue Generation and returned to Wake Forest University where he continued to surpass revenue goals on both the corporate partnership and fundraising sides of the business.
After five-years in the college sports business, in 2013, he transitioned to a national sales position for Huddle, a start-up High School sports company whose goal was to aggregate High Schools across the US into a property where brands can participate. In his eight-years at Huddle, he helped the company grow from under $3M in annual revenue to almost $10M. Drew secured landmark deals with brands like Aquafina, Allegacy Federal Credit Union, 7-Eleven, Hardee’s, Kellogg’s, Walmart, Truist, Home Depot, Anthem, Jersey Mike’s, AdventHealth, T-Mobile and Subway to help shape Huddle into what it is today. With the revenue that Drew and his team generated, Huddle launched a digital tickets and transaction product for schools called GoFan. Today, GoFan, is the leading digital ticketing solution for high school events, working with more than 35 state athletic associations.

Built on a pioneering legacy
Our Story
The story of Bonham/Wills & Associates begins with Dean Bonham.
After serving in senior leadership with the Denver Nuggets, Dean saw an opportunity to change how organizations approached the business of sport. In 1988, he founded The Bonham Group with the belief that sponsorship should be treated not as an advertising purchase, but as a strategic investment.
It was a forward-looking idea at a time when the commercial potential of sports partnerships was only beginning to be understood.
Dean went on to become one of the industry’s leading authorities on sponsorship, valuation and naming rights. The Bonham Group advised major properties and corporate brands around the world, contributing to more than 100 naming-rights assignments and helping establish practices that would influence the industry for decades.
His reputation was built on more than commercial success. Dean was known for his strategic mind, his negotiating instincts and his commitment to doing the work properly. He understood that the strongest partnerships begin with an honest assessment of value and succeed when both parties have the opportunity to benefit.
In 2012, Dean and Tom Wills established Bonham Wills & Associates, creating the next chapter of the firm. Today, we combine the experience and principles developed over more than three decades with modern data, technology and an international network of specialized advisors.
Dean passed away in 2025, but his legacy lives on in our methodology, our standards and the way we serve every client.
We remain proud to carry his name and his vision forward.
